DLB Leadership Associates was founded in 2012 by Deborah Leek-Bailey OBE, then headteacher of Babington House School and a key influencer on national forums. Deborah is known for her thought leadership pieces across multiple media but also writes on social mobility, adoption, bereavement, resilience and change management.
Deborah currently works as a part time Director for Education Development Trust, a global charity that advises governments on how to enhance education provision. After extensive research Deborah has identified leadership qualities that she considers benefit most organisations. Deborah has advised ministers, members of the armed forces, educationalists, national charities and been a Trustee on several boards. She is an advocate for equality and social justice. Deborah recognises that people have diverse talents and is known for empowering individuals, senior leadership teams and board members- maximising their potential to achieve their goals. People trust Deborah because she speaks truth to power, is able to hold others to account and does so with integrity.
DLB’s mission is to ensure that people are led by those who are values driven, can articulate a powerful vision, empower their colleagues to share that intent, ensure they have the appropriate skill set and deliver value for money-not by doing less but by doing it more effectively.
